Friday October 3rd-Sunday October 5th
Join Jack and Sean as we tackle the presidential traverse. In one LONG, LONG, LONG day. High milage hiking experience strongly recommended. We'll Leave Friday afternoon, get to bed early, and get an alpine start well before dawn to take a sunrise selfie on top of Mt. Madison. We will then traverse the entirety of New Hampshire's Presidential Range, concluding at sunset on top of Mt. Webster, We'll camp the night there and make it back to campus early on Sunday. We will travel light and fast on the traverse, which is 24 miles and features almost 10,000 ft of elevation gain. Email to sign up!

Saturday & Sunday, October 4-5
Hello adventurers! We are leading a trip to the Adirondack Mountains this Saturday and Sunday. We will be leaving on Saturday morning around 7:30 am and will be back on campus around 3 pm on Sunday. We will be climbing Wright Peak, Algonquin, and Iroquois then camping at Lake Colden. We will hike out Sunday morning via Marcy Dam. The first day is a little over 8 miles and a fair amount of elevation gain and the second day is 6 easier miles but some experience and good physical competence is required. It is going to be beautiful and great exercise! Email to sign up!
Fall Break Franconia Ridge with Andrew and Parker!
Saturday - Monday, October 11-13
Join us on this three day trip and bag one of the most famous sections of the White Mountains! The trip is an approximately 20 mile loop. It's the perfect time to get to a high place and gape at the sweeping views of the changing leaves. This is a great trip for intermediate to advanced backpackers looking to do fall break right! We should be back sometime Monday afternoon to evening. Email to sign up!
Sunrise Hike with Ryan and Emma!
Tuesday, October 7
Come start your day off right with a jaunt up a gorgeous 4000 footer - before breakfast! We will leave ADK at 4:30 am for a 6:55 sunrise and be back in time for 9:30 classes. Bring lots of warm layers (it's usually pretty windy up there), hat, gloves, comfortable shoes, headlamp, and a water bottle. We will provide some snackaroos. Should be lots of fun! Email to sign up!
Fall Break Western High Peaks with Maddie and Jake
Saturday - Monday, October 11-13
Come explore the trail-less and wild Seward Range of the Adirondacks! We'll leave Saturday the 11th at 11:00 and hike in 6 miles to a lean-to. The next morning we'll wake up and tackle three 46ers: Seward, Donaldson, and Emmons. This will be seven miles of hiking over rough terrain. On Monday we will we will go up Seymour and then hike out, totaling nine miles for the day, and drive back to campus. Email to sign up!
