CONTRA DANCE

McCullough Social Space
Remember how much fun the square dance was during orientation? Well contra dancing is like square dancing but even cooler! Join us and a visiting band from St. Lawrence University-- Bingo Town Couch Parade-- for some rollickin' good times! Then, we'll all head over to Brooker for Fireside!

GUIDE MEETING(s)
6:00 PM Friday the 1st
CURRENT GUIDES and Prospective Guides Looking for CO-LEADS come to get trips on the calendar! Winter guides, this is your time to shine; basic hiking guides, the whole semester is up for grabs, so come stake out your weekends later in the spring. Then, hang around for Fireside with the new Febs!
6:30 PM: ANYONE INTERESTED IN GUIDING come to learn what guiding for the MMC is all about, how you become a guide, what kinds of trips you can lead, and why guiding is DOPE. Yes, we realize that this coincides with the Feb welcome event-- we want the Febs to learn about guiding too, and we want you to get to enjoy a home-cooked Fireside meal!

FEB WELCOME EVENT-- FIRESIDE
6:30 PM Friday the 1st
Brooker House
Hey there new Febs! We've got an event planned JUST FOR YOU so that you can learn all about our club and how to keep doing mountainy things during your time at Midd! Skip Proctor and head to Brooker for a home-cooked dinner-- fireside style. You'll get to meet MMC guides and board members, ask questions about how to pursue your favorite extreme sports, learn more about how to sign up for trips (or become a guide and LEAD trips), watch a slideshow of FOO photos, and hang out in one of the best houses on campus! Bring $7 and you can get a sweet MMC calendar. Hang around afterward for some badass bluegrass in Brooker Basement at 9PM (see below)!
