Arbor Day Today and.....Flaming Flamingo Sunday!

Oh ye 'ol mountaineers! The year has come to an end, with the finals arriving, oh no!
However, that does not mean that the festivities are by any means over! 

Arbor Day Celebration Today, May 7th
Want to get your hands dirty? The festivities will include:
3-4 pm: Tree tour with Tim Parsons. Meet in front of McCullough.
4-5 pm: Tree plantings between FIC and Bihall. Snacks will be provided.

Middlebury is working to achieve the Arbor Day Foundation's Tree Campus USA certification. Bring your friends for a relaxing afternoon activity in the spring sunshine! Direct your questions to Hilary Platt (hplatt@middlebury.edu)


This Sunday Flaming Flamingo!! 4 PM - Lake Dunmore
What can fly at 37 miles an hour, and still spends up to 30% of their time preening? You guessed it.... (dogs?) No, EXPLODING FLAMINGOS!
Wanna see it happen? Come to Lake Dunmore THIS SUNDAY for the MMC's spring Flaming Flamingo!
Vans leave ADK Sunday at 4 PM, Snacks, meat, and veggie options provided

Saturday, May 15: 8:30 AM - 1 PM
Long Trail Work Day
Come join Green Mountain Club volunteers for a half-day of trail work to keep the Long Trail near the Snow Bowl in good shape.  No experience necessary. 830 AM to 1 PM, so you can come back and take that pesky exam in your muddy boots.  Lunch and transportation provided.  Email Alex (aoberg@middlebury.edu) to sign up.
